An Immediate Denture is placed right after extraction of any teeth that need removal. It is placed on the day of the extraction by your dentist, who we will work with in coordinating the dates and other details. For a 9-12 month period, we will place temporary liners inside the denture to help re-fit it as the mouth heals from the extraction. After the mouth is completely healed, a final, permanent reline will need to be placed to ensure proper fit and function.
A partial Denture is a removable prosthetic that replaces a single or multiple missing teeth. Partial Dentures can be made of either Metal, Flexible Nylon or pink colored Acrylic. Composite Denture teeth are compared to the natural teeth to match the shade and give a natural looking smile. Partial Dentures are able to be secured in the mouth by attaching metal or flexible Nylon to your adjacent natural teeth. A Partial Denture is a great way to restore your smile and give you the ability to chew properly again, returning you to a regular diet that improves your overall health.
